1. Who is responsible

Binary Flow Technologies DOO (trading as AnswerEngine), Hristo Batandziev, Skopje, North Macedonia, is the data controller for personal data processed through AnswerEngine. This means we decide why and how your data is used. Contact: Andrej Evtimov, andrej@binaryflow.co.

2. What we collect and why

  • Account data (name, email, login credentials or Google sign-in details): to create and run your account. Basis: contract.
  • Website and business data (URLs you submit, public content we read from them, scan results, tracked questions, generated content): to provide scans and Autopilot. Basis: contract.
  • Support messages: to answer your questions. Basis: contract and legitimate interests.
  • Usage and device data (IP address, browser, device identifiers, pages used, logs): for security, fraud prevention and improving the product. Basis: legitimate interests.
  • Product emails: service notices about your account; marketing only with your consent, which you can withdraw any time. Basis: contract / consent.

Payment details are collected directly by Paddle, not by us.

3. Who we share it with

  • Service providers who help run AnswerEngine: hosting and database, AI model providers, and website-reading and web search providers, and Cloudflare for bot protection. They process data only on our instructions.
  • Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for selling the product, managing subscriptions, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
  • Professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants.
  • Authorities, where required by law.

We do not sell your personal data.

4. International transfers

Some providers are located outside North Macedonia, the EEA or the UK (for example in the United States). Where this happens we rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses and other appropriate safeguards.

5. How long we keep it

We keep account data while your account is active. After you close your account, we delete or anonymise your data within 30 days, except where we must keep records longer by law (for example tax records). Logs are kept for up to 12 months.

6. Your rights

Under the Law on Personal Data Protection of North Macedonia and the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. Email andrej@binaryflow.co and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the Personal Data Protection Agency of North Macedonia or your local supervisory authority.

7. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, access controls and per-user data isolation.

8. Cookies and similar storage

We only use cookies and browser storage that are strictly necessary to run the service, so we do not ask for consent. We use no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and our site analytics are cookieless.

  • Sign-in session (us, browser storage): keeps you logged in. Lasts until you sign out.
  • Free-scan access cookie (us): lets only the browser that started a free scan continue it. Expires within a day.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile (Cloudflare): checks that free-scan visitors are human, to prevent abuse. Session only.
  • Paddle checkout (Paddle): processes payments and prevents fraud during checkout. See Paddle's privacy notice.

Signing in with Google shares your sign-in with Google. Fonts are served from our own site, not from Google. You can clear cookies in your browser settings, but you may then need to sign in again.

9. Changes

We may update this notice and will change the date at the top when we do.
